The data backup reseller program is offered through two distinct packages, Level 1 and Level 2 resellers. Level 1 resellers are provided a fully branded application and all of the necessary components which are needed to provide an on-line data backup service. The Level 2 reseller package provides the fully branded application, but allows the reseller to manage the accounts and billing.

Many of the of the components that are offered to Level 1 resellers can be acquired as add-ons to Level 2 resellers. This allows our resellers to utilize the specific reseller components that best compliment their business models.

Reseller Comparison: This illustration depicts the basic differences between the two reseller programs. Both programs inlcude the Branded Application and are supported by our data center. The Level 2 reseller program has an optional Remote Web Access component.



Level 1 Reseller: Ecommerce Portal
1) Fully branded backup client application. Includes splash screen, application name, install path and all support information within the application. This is NOT co-branding, no reference to our service or company is made within the application.
2) Branded ecommerce component for accepting orders on-line. Start taking online signups for your data backup service today. We help companies host and maintain a secure SSL environment for accepting new orders through the web.
3) Recurring Billing System. Not only do we provide a recurring billing system for your service, we also streamline the merchant account process to aid resellers in obtaining merchant accounts for online billing. Further, we can integrate any preexisting merchant account into the billing system.
4) Purchase Order system for accepting payment via company checks. Allows resellers to accept and manage payment on accounts through purchase orders.
5) Branded User Control Panel. Allows clients to log in and edit configurations and settings. This system allows clients to upgrade, downgrade, add or delete users within their account. No need to spend your time configuring changes requested by clients, it's all done automatically through the User Control Panel.
6) Reseller Support Module. Provides all the tools necessary to support the data backup service and manage your clients. Confirm billing, account configurations and view user reports.
7) Branded Notification System. Allows clients to receive notification regarding account status and backup failures. Emails are sent using your companies support email address.



Level 2 Reseller: Branded Application
1) Fully branded backup client application. Includes splash screen, application name, install path and all support information within the application. This is NOT co-branding, no reference to service or company is made within the application.
2) User Management. Level 2 resellers create an account and then manage their users through the user control panel interface.
3) Recurring Billing System. Level 2 resellers manage their own billing.
4) Branded User Control Panel. Allows clients to log in and edit configurations and settings. The branded User Control Panel is not included in the Level 2 reseller package. However, if this is needed it can be configured as an add-on component.
5) Branded Remote Web Access . Allows clients to log in and restore data from any PC that is connected to the internet. This web interface allows for restoration from any web browser. The branded Remote Web Access is not included in the Level 2 reseller package. However, if this is needed it can be configured as an add-on component.
6) Branded Notification System. Allows clients to receive notification regarding account status and backup failures. The branded notification system is not included in the Level 2 reseller package.

Important questions to ask any data backup service reseller.

1) Is the service fully branded?
Yes. There is no mention of the parent company in the application, signup process or notification process. We have gone to great lengths to provide the necessary separation, allowing our resellers to operate completely autonomously.

2) Can I control the pricing?
Yes. Unlike many other reseller programs, our program allows our resellers to control their pricing.

3) Are templates available for the reseller program?
Yes. We provides complete templates, including support documents, graphics and site content.

4) What level of client data redundancy do you provide?
We provide 3 levels of data redundancy. This is a VERY CRITICAL question and it is important to note that we maintain 3 copies of client data on separate, fault tolerant hard disk arrays. Many data backup providers only provide 2 levels of redundancy. Further, their second copy resides on tape. If they should experience a loss it may take close to a week to recover, if they are actually able to recover. Tape is a very unstable backup medium. 5) What level of network redundancy do you provide?
The service is supported by a triple redundant network. We have three separate GSPs that support our service. This allows our service to 1) remain available while one or two of the other GSPs are experiencing down time, and 2) optimize our communications with our clients based on their regional location.

6) What type of network security is in place?
The service is protected by a enterprise firewall. Further, our network is continually monitored by an Intrusion Protection System that is regularly monitored and provides detailed reporting on suspicious network behavior.

7) How secure is the facility?
Our facility is secured by a biometric access system. Further, 24/7 surveillance assures that only the certified personnel have access. Take a facility tour here.

8) Is the data stored in separate locations?
Data is mirrored once locally and then replicated off-site to our secondary, secure location. Three fault tolerant arrays provides 6 levels of redundancy across 2 locations. No other data backup service provides this level of redundancy.
